The tour is sponsored by Administaff and held at Augusta Pines Golf Club located in Northwest Harris County in Spring TX. Our economy thrives through small businesses and Administaff strives to connect this tournament with the role that small businesses
play in our country. Administaff's slogan says it all "Small business is good for America and Administaff is good for small business."
The tour brings some of the golf's most recognizable names to the Spring area. The Champions tour is a golf tour run by the PGA and is for golfers 50 years of age or older. The honorary chairman is President George H.W. Bush. The field will include 78 champions' tour professionals. This is a 54-hole stroke-play competition and competition is fierce with a purse of $1.7 million. The tour will be broadcast on the golf channel Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This will be the fourth Administaff Small Business Classic. The prior three champions were Larry Nelson, Mark McNulty and Jay Haas. This tour is becoming a bit of a fall tradition in Houston.
