One of the many things I love about Spring TX is how close we are to Lake Conroe.  We keep our sailboat out at Lake Conroe and I took this picture yesterday when we were out there.

I decided to use a picture of Dundy in front of the fireplace for our Christmas cards. Our son thought it would be cute if he had reindeer antlers. I searched high and low to find the perfect antlers. As you can see from the picture our reindeer was not happy with his antlers. He wins the Christmas card picture is going out without the antlers.

This is Elle; our grand-kitty who lives with us.  Our daughter is a flight attendant flying Internationally (based out of JFK) and is here maybe one week out of a month.  We thought Elle would be mad at her when she comes home but she always welcomes her with open paws.

This is Wordless Wednesday with words as this picture needs to be explained.  This is our daughter's cat Elle.  Our daughter is a flight attendant for a Charter company flying Internationally so Elle lives with us as our daughter is flying around the world.  Our daughter commutes and so she gets to see Elle quite a bit. 

Our other cat Calvin has always had a favorite chair but as I was retiring this bag Elle decided to make it her favorite suitcase.  I just think it is appropriate that our daughter's cat would pick a suitcase as her bed (lol). I make a good surrogate Mom but as soon as our daughter comes home Elle knows who she belongs to or should I say who belongs to her.  As you can tell Elle doesn't skin any meals!__________________________________________________________________________________________________

 One of the things I love about living in Spring is all the accessibility to the gulf.  I was at Galveston this last weekend with some ladies from a woman's group and caught this little beauty on the beach.  She is totally discovering God's wonders!___________________________________________________________________________________________________

This picture was taken by our daughter at Brazos Bend State Park.  The park is only a little over an hour from our house and I was amazed at all the wildlife we saw.  The bird pictures all tend to fit better in a long format so this did not fit in my last post where the alligators fit sideways.  Somehow I NEVER thought about Texas and alligators going together but they do.  If you would like to see Alligators in Texas please visit my post at Alligators anyone.

We love walking to Augusta Pines Golf Club and watching their firework display around the lake on the 4th of July.  This year our daughter was home and took this wonderful picture.  It does give that bombs bursting in air look.  We are so blessed to live in this country and I love Independence Day!
