Galveston a day trip from Spring TX

 A Galveston Beauty!!

One of the things I love about living in Spring is all the accessibility to the gulf.  I was at Galveston this last weekend with some ladies from a woman's group and caught this little beauty on the beach.  She is totally discovering God's wonders!___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hi Marchel, What a wonder picture (s). We should all try to see life as though through a child's eye and get out " judgment and into curiosity". I use the phrase a lot in my life and especially when I mentor those that I come across to be all they can be in life.

Marchel,

What a cutie and and beautiful surroundings. Looks to me like the tide is out, the beaches there look like they may be a little flatter than we experiences here on the West coast.

How cute! It's hard to remember the joy of inquisitiveness that children possess, and would be good for us if we were to try to recapture that...

PAT, It was a Kodak moment and she was so cute!!

CANDICE, She was a doll baby!

SARA, I thought about calling it "Precious" but wanted to get the name Galveston in so that didn't work but it is precious!

MARY, Life is a wonder at that age!  Too bad all the stuff gets in the way to no longer make it a wonder for us because LIFE IS A WONDER!

RITA, She was a Galveston beauty!  I have no idea who she is but she was enjoying the wonder of it all.

WILLIAM, Out of "judgment and in to curiosity"; I like that.  I will have to share that with my bible study.

GERRY, The wonders of childhood!!

LYNDA, She is a cutie and you are right the beaches have been flattened but flattened by Hurricane Ike.  This time we were able to ride my friends golf cart straight on to the beach; before there were dunes that prevented that.

JANE, I love the beach also and this little darling shows the WONDERS of the beach!!

MISSY, Wasn't she just PRECIOUS!  I love capturing these moments when it appears no one is looking.

CHARLES, It was Wild during Hurricane Ike.  It was interesting going back a year later.  There was a house across from the house I was staying at that was GONE.

JUDI, To be so innocent again!

KATE, I loved her reflection also.  I wish I had my Tamron lens but it is in being worked on.  My daughter told me this was a decent lens and it did do a good job.

DEBI, It would be good if we could recapture that innocence!!

TONY and DARCY, She was TOTALLY entertaining herself.

KAREN, You are right the picture speaks for itself.  I did however want to get Galveston in the title as it is still re-cooperating from Hurricane Ike.

CARON, She was so cute and I think I was the only one who caught this little moment.  It is now captured though.

CAROLE, They look at the world so innocent.  Something happens along the way of growing up where we lose that innocence.

GEORGE, I can't even imagine looking at the world so innocent.  Like I just told Carole something happens along the way where we lose that.

I caught a happy little one at the Zoo a couple of weeks ago:

The Children's Zoo at the San Diego Zoo

He was part of a Summer Day Camp that was visiting the Zoo, and they had just come from the "Bug House" where most of them were scared and crying because of the weird bugs, especially the bird-eating spider because it was so big. The petting zoo made them happy again real fast.

The nike air Mariah is a very special sneaker. It’s one of the classic Nike runners. Many everyday runners hold the Nike Air Mariah close to their hearts. Nike always seems to do a great job with the Air Mariah. The design, colorways and construction always seems to be perfect. Well Nike does it once again as they pull out another great colorway of the Nike Air Mariah. This latest Nike Air Mariah comes in a Charcoal/Pink/White colorway. Charcoal covers the top half of the sneaker, such as the Nike swoosh, nike shoes laces, tongue, toe and the inner lining. Head turning pink accents appear on the tongue tag, heel, swoosh border, part of the midsole and the entire outsole. The sneaker construction is definitely unique. Nylon, suede and smooth leather are just some of the materials responsible for making this Nike Air Mariah. This isn’t officially a Womens sneaker, but it sure looks like one. This Charcoal/Pink/White colorway of the nike air max Mariah is available now at Finishline.Waiting air max 2011
