I'm amazed at the positions cats are able to sleep in.  Dogs too for that matter.  I'd like to see a human lay down on their back with hands and feet in the air and try to sleep.

I was down at the cat adoption store Sunday, and I know if I bring one home, Sweetie will love it, and I will have some serious 'splaining to do....

Kids and cats.... they can get away with that stuff.... I would be in the hospital after sleeping like that.

Hi, Marchel.  You have an adorable grandcat!  Miss Elle looks like she has the run of the house.   Do you spoil Miss Elle while her mom is away?

She sure looks comfortable.  I have similar pictures of my cat.

DAVID, What is amazing is they can also look so comfortable in all their strange positions.

ELIZABETH, She has huge paws for a kitty and is great at putting them in to strange contortions.  She is also a klutz.  Up until she came in to our life I though all cats were graceful (NOT). 

DIANE, Thanks!  Elle figures she has a good surrogate Mommy.  Your wouldn't believe how fast she dumps me when our daughter comes in town though.  She is sitting beside me right now.

SHARON, She is a cuddler and a big one at that.  I often work with her on my lap and believe me I have a lap full. She is thrilled every time out daughter comes home.

ANDREA, She is actually in a cute position right now but not as cute as when she was snoozing in this picture.  Thanks for the compliment on my picture.

Hi Marchel...One of our puppies can sleep like that.  She must thinks she's a cat like your grand-kitty.  Do you have room for two frisky pups?  Maybe one week a month?

NANCY, Boneless is a good description for how a cat sleeps.

MIKE, I have always heard that cats are like potato chips, one is not enough.  We have two and they are about as different as night and day.  Funny thing my children are as different as night and day also. 

LOREENA, A gymnast she is not.  A klutz she is!!  I had no idea a cat could be so ungraceful.  Thanks for the compliment on my picture.  I just put it up a few days ago.  The specs are gone!

VALERIE, I don't know that I could ever move like that.  I've been taking a yoga/Pilate type class and those moves are difficult to make.

RITA, Elle makes me smile all the time.  She is quite the kitty.

Marchel, That's a precious photo.  Kitty looks SO peaceful without a care in the world.  It must be nice to be a cat, especially one who is loved so much!

TOM, Shoot I had to go in to a sports medical facility today because of hurting myself doing lunges.  I don't even want to think what I would hurt if I tried to do that kind of contortion.

TRICIA, Elle is a VERY content cat.  She especially loves to cuddle on laps.

TERI, I hear you!  I hurt myself just doing lunges exercising.  I have a Bakers cyst whatever that is but it sounds simple enough that I just don't do lunges.

BRUCE, YES, I spoil my grand-kitty while our daughter is away.  She thinks I'm a good surrogate Mom.  As soon as our daughter arrives back she drops me like a hot potato.

DEE, Since our children are grown I now find myself grabbing the camera for the pets (lol). 

Looks like a really big cat and she looks very comfortable.

KATHLEEN, I have a puppy looking at me right now with his puppy dog eyes. 

JUDI, They are entertaining and also VERY smart!

TERRY and BONNIE, It looks uncomfortable to me but she seems to enjoy it.

LYNDA, She is usually happy for some reason she gets cranky about 3:00 in the afternoon.  I have not figured that one out.

RICK, If I slept like that I would wake up stiff all over.

APRIL, You are right it would be ben gay time after a nap like that.

I love kitties....I have three and they can do some of the funniest poses, both awake and sleeping.  Elle looks very content and must be enjoying a nice dream.

Marchel, she looks a lot like me on a Sunday afternoon.  That is my favorite position :)

ANN, She does make me smile.  I have never seen a kitty get in such goofy positions. 

SONJA, I have to agree, Elle is too cute.  Sometimes she gets a little bitchy so it is good that she is so darn cute.

RENE, Elle does have the good life.  She was not a rescue.  Our daughter got her from someone that my husband worked with and the kitties ruled.  That has been her life.  All the rest of our animals are rescues but life for Elle is all about Elle.

CHERYL, There's something about fat orange tabbies that is just too cute!!

ANN, Animal pictures always make me smile.  Well those human society commercials have almost made me cry.

JENNIFER, Thanks!  She does know how to get comfy.  She spent the evening on my husbands lap which was very unusual.  I guess she was mad at me for having my laptop on my lap.

SHELDON, A slinky is a good comparison.  Even with all that fat she can get in those strange contortions.

GARY, She is settled in.  She misses our daughter but makes the most of just having us.

Oh to be able to relax like that! It looks like she is very comfortable even in that position.
