Enjoying the little joys!!

Enjoying the little joys in Spring TXWOO HOO I just met my husband and our son for lunch.  You are probably thinking; so. You have to understand at this time last year our son was finishing his second tour of Iraq.  He is now out of the Army and a college student.  He only has one final left and today off.  We were all able to meet for lunch; coming from three different directions.

This has been a hectic time for me.  Not so much because of the holiday but because of a difficult transaction that has robbed my joy.  I think sometimes it is just nice to kick back and enjoy those special little times that come along.  Regardless whether it is hectic from the holidays or from work it is nice to take a little breath of fresh air doing something you love.  For me it was as small as meeting my husband and son for lunch.  I hope you can find some little joys to enjoy also during this hectic time.

I love the holidays and being with family. I know exactly what you mean. God Bless You and your family this Christmas

Thanks for sharing this, Marchel!  It is easy to get caught up with our work and the busy holiday season and overlook the things that matter the most!!!  What a great reminder for the rest of us who didn't take time to pause and enjoy a meal with our family members.  May that "sticky" transaction become smoother for you, Marchel.  ENJOY the rest of your week!  Think how much better this Christmas already is with your son home from Iraq!

Celebrate the small joys whenever you can.  Thanks for reminding us to slow down and enjoy life.

Marchel,

Oh, Yes!  Little things mean a lot and we should savor them as we can.

BRUCE, There's nothing that can beat time with family.  I'm praying that sticky transaction will close.

LORRIE, Those small joys are what life is all about.

GARY, It was VERY COOL!

MIKE, I think I savor those small things all the more the older I get.

MARY, It was a joyful sweet time with my husband and son.

Hi Marchel!  I too have been having and facing tests and trials.... We just want stuff to get back to normal don't we?  I pray that you have strength to endure it and come out victoriously using wisdom from on high.... be encouraged.    Meanwhile... savor the time.... little joys are precious aren't they?

Those are precious moments and I am learning to create the opportunities for more of them especially with my grandchildren. Happy that you not only enjoyed yours but shared with us. Merry Christmas to all.

Marcel -- this was not a "small" event... What could be nicer than to have family together and sharing each other's company.  Priceless.

Yesw Marchell....I Do!  Petting my cat. Talking to my parrot. Cooking.  I look forward to the simple things after a day at the "salt mines".

Marchel, I also really enjoy the simple things, like just getting together for a meal like you did with your husband and son.  Family time is my favorite time :)

DIANE, I keep reminding myself that I'm the Christian in this transaction but wow would it be easy to just react.  Little joys are precious and I love having our son home.

TERAL, You don't look old enough to have grandchildren.  Your name fits in with my children's names by the way.  There names are Tarina and Tarren.  No they are not twins I just like those T names.

JOAN, It is priceless; especially since our son has been gone for about 5 years now.  I can't get enough of having him close.

TREY, It is those simple things that make life so precious.

GEORGE, We  eat at the same time every evening as a family.  With our children grown it is usually a family of 2 so we REALLY enjoy those times we all get to spend together.  When our children were growing up their friends thought it was strange that we ate our evening meal together.  I always found that sad.

So much better with your son home for the holidays. Business comes and goes but stop and enjoy the family during the holidays.

Marchel, I think you're right. Taking time out to enjoy life is much needed in our lives. Transactions can suck us dry if we let them sometimes. Real estate is definitely not for the faint of heart. ;-)

Hi Marchel.  I think it is great you could all meet together for lunch, and yes little things like that can brighten our day.  Glad your son is home safe and finishing up the fall semester(which I am sure he is HAPPY about!), and well wishes for tackling that problem in your RE business!

Marchel  We all have those special moments - the beauty is they are special without being dramatic.  For example, each year my husband and I take an afternoon off and just take a walk through our favorite mall and watch holiday shoppers.  We do not go into stores otobuy anything - our shopping is always done before we go.  We enjoy watching the hustle and bustle without being part of the hustle and bustle and, yes, we're holding hands.  Merry Christmas to you and your family

Marchel - I'm glad you see the value in seizing the little joys in life!  This time of year can be stressful to many.  But for those in our profession, a difficult transaction adds special stress!  Hopefully, there will be remedy for you before long!

The nike air Mariah is a very special sneaker. It’s one of the classic Nike runners. Many everyday runners hold the Nike Air Mariah close to their hearts. Nike always seems to do a great job with the Air Mariah. The design, colorways and construction always seems to be perfect. Well Nike does it once again as they pull out another great colorway of the Nike Air Mariah. This latest Nike Air Mariah comes in a Charcoal/Pink/White colorway. Charcoal covers the top half of the sneaker, such as the Nike swoosh, nike shoes laces, tongue, toe and the inner lining. Head turning pink accents appear on the tongue tag, heel, swoosh border, part of the midsole and the entire outsole. The sneaker construction is definitely unique. Nylon, suede and smooth leather are just some of the materials responsible for making this Nike Air Mariah. This isn’t officially a Womens sneaker, but it sure looks like one. This Charcoal/Pink/White colorway of the nike air max Mariah is available now at Finishline.Waiting air max 2011 .
