Results Realty Buzz: Boston - Where it all began!!

Informing you on the Real Estate Market in Spring Texas and the surrounding areas and other interesting tid bits!

Boston - Where it all began!!

This last September we took a vacation to Rhode Island and on the way spent a day in Boston. What an exciting day that was! I love history and Boston is full of history! I loved walking along the Freedom Trail and seeing where it all began!

Today with Massachusetts again making a bit of a revolt I thought this was a good time to post my Boston pictures.

Boston, where it all began!!

I have to admit I'm thrilled this evening!  I think our founding fathers put checks and balances in so one party would not have absolute control. I'm glad we no longer have a filibuster senate. The people have spoken!!

Thank you Massachusetts voters!!

Okay you are probably wondering where Cheers fits in but it is a bit of Boston history also.

Marchel,
Awesome post and great pictures, what is the little widget to change or scroll the pictures?  that's good because it does not have any name on it :)

Great pictures.  Remember the government works for us.  When they forget that we throw them out.

Marchel, great pictures!  I would love to go back there and do just what you did, visit all that historic sights.  I too am pleased with todays results, I agree with the idea of checks and balances.  One party should not have full, unchecked control of the Federal Government.

Marchel, there are so many cool places to go in Boston. I am hoping to get back up there, my family is from the Boston area and I lived there as a child. I have a list of places I want to visit with my camera of course!

Marchel,

I really enjoyed this post.  We have never been to Boston, and my wife tells me that it will be  long weekend or even a week's vacation destination for us this year.  Your photos make me anticipate it even more!

I don't mind if one party has a majority as long as they are not turning this country into communism with socialistic agendas rammed down our throats! This is suppose to be America!

HI TO ALL,  I am off to exercise class and probably won't get back to AR until this evening.  I will tell you how I made the slide show though.  The credit goes to Myrl Jeffcoat and she made an Animation tutorial.  You are going to need the program Animation Paint shop. You are also going to need to be able to upload the GIF file you make to a website.  That was where I got stuck.  You can't just go and grab the GIF as a picture or it won't work.  I love the nice clean slide show that it makes.

BOB, I hope you had a chance to visit Myrl's post today.  I have been excited all day.  I feel like MAYBE we dodged a bullet.

RAY, I had the same response as you the first time I saw these in one of Myrle's post.  I questioned her on it and she wrote a tutorial. Here it is Animation tutorial

ELITE HOMES, I love to see it when the people speak.  WOW did they SPEAK!!

TONY, It seems like it has been a long time since I had something in politics to be pleased about.  I have been smiling all day long.

LOREENA, I hope you had a chance to visit Myrle's tutorial.  If not here it is Animation tutorial

JUDY, WOO HOO MA!!  We appreciate your state!!

ANDREA, One day was not enough!  I wish we had more time!  There is so much history there and we just enjoyed the heck out of our day!

MIKE, You need more than a day; a long weekend would be perfect!  We did the whole tourist thing and took the trolley where you got on and got off.  It was perfect!  When we ran out of walking time we just rode the trolley.

NICHOLAS, The one side has been acting like a kid in a candy jar.  Well they got caught with their hand in the jar. Here Myrl's Animation tutorial

DEBI, I have to admit Boston was one of those places on my bucket list.  I'm glad we took the extra day to visit.

CAROLE, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED visiting Boston.  My husband for the most part does not care for crowded places but he enjoyed our day there also.  It was a busy day as they had a cruise ship in that day.

RUSSELL, I have a friend that is running the San Diego marathon.  I can't even imagine!!  I would love to go back sometime when we have more time.

YOLANDA, Thank you and the results were beautiful also!

KAREN, I also LOVED, LOVED, LOVED visiting DC.  We have been twice and I would love to come again someday.

GEORGE, May I agree with you on Boston drivers.  We took off from Rhode Island thinking we were allowing plenty of time.  Oh my their traffic was worse than ours and I was not impressed with the drivers either.

Marchel,  Boston was the start of the American Revolution through the tea party revolt.  Mass held true to their history on Tuesday.

Wonderful photos.  Not sure I could figure out how to do it.

TREY, I think we may have dodged the bullet.  I say maybe as our President is so out of tune he is still blaming Bush.

BONNIE,  When we were there we looked at each other and said how could this state have become so liberal.  I was wrong they came through when they needed to with a second tea party!!

MYRL, Boston was on my bucket list also.  It was a VERY COOL day but a long weekend would have been better!

SONJA, We waited for our children to be older to take them to DC and I'm so glad we did.  They will always remember it!!  Our daughter made it to Boston before us.  I guess our son will have to do it on his own (lol).

REBECCA, I feel like we dodged a bullet.

DEBRA, This was my first time to Boston but I loved it.

DIANE, When we were there in September if you had told me the story that was going to unfold I would have told you that you were NUTS. I remember looking over at my husband and saying "how did this city get so liberal".  I guess I was wrong; this was a second tea party.

The nike air Mariah is a very special sneaker. It’s one of the classic Nike runners. Many everyday runners hold the Nike Air Mariah close to their hearts. Nike always seems to do a great job with the Air Mariah. The design, colorways and construction always seems to be perfect. Well Nike does it once again as they pull out another great colorway of the Nike Air Mariah. This latest Nike Air Mariah comes in a Charcoal/Pink/White colorway. Charcoal covers the top half of the sneaker, such as the Nike swoosh, nike shoes laces, tongue, toe and the inner lining. Head turning pink accents appear on the tongue tag, heel, swoosh border, part of the midsole and the entire outsole. The sneaker construction is definitely unique. Nylon, suede and smooth leather are just some of the materials responsible for making this Nike Air Mariah. This isn’t officially a Womens sneaker, but it sure looks like one. This Charcoal/Pink/White colorway of the nike air max Mariah is available now at Finishline.Waiting air max 2011 .
