Marchel, this sounds like a great program. In this day and age where there are so many preventative measures available to us at very affordable prices, it is silly not to take advantage of them, and avoid serious health issues later.
Marchel, I think that's wonderful. My doctor made me have a carotid artery screening because he feels it's so important. It took about 15 minutes and was a breeze. These all are valuable tests to have at a very affordable rate!

SONJA, A stroke with no warning is VERY SCARY! I lost my real estate mentor from a massive stroke. She actually lived 4 years after the stroke but had to learn to talk and communicate again and to be honest was never the same. I was thinking of her today and I so miss being able to call her for her wise advice!

CHERISE, You are correct it appears strokes can affect anyone. My real estate mentor was in her early 60's when she was hit with a stroke. She died this last year and I so miss her.
GEORGE, It only makes sense for that small amount of $ to take care of the body that God gave us.

ANN, A little prevention now can save the day later.
I wish my grandpa had known about these tests. He was as healthy as a 20 year old. Or so we all thought. He had a stroke while giving a sermon at church. He is a retired baptist preacher. He survived the stroke but has severly lost the use of the left side of his body. It's been a struggle for the last 4 years for him. I would suggest to everyone to get these tests done!
