I was going to put this in the group where you decide what the picture is but then decided that would not be fair. You would have to have been to the Weiss Exhibition at the Houston Museum of Natural Science to know that it was an energy exhibit. The exhibit takes everyone through an oil refinery through a full 3-D color animation. Our daughter was in town this last week and we visited the museum; she of course took the picture.

Marchel
One of my favorite museums, We are ready for a trip back as it has been years since we were there.
Marchel looks like an interesting exhibit and rather colorful. Great way to spend time with your daughter.
Marchel,
Like the shapes and the colors - so vibrant. Very nice photos to share with the group. Thank you. :)
Steve
Marchel, beautiful photos and very appropos for Houston. The Orlando Science Museum follows oranges from the tree through the plant in their children's exhibit. It's not very scientific, but fun for the kids to play with.
Marchel,
These pictures looks awesome, it's seems something like glow in the dark things :) keep doing these speechless days :)
Those pics ae amazing! So colorful!
Neat photos! That would be an interesting exhibit to visit.
Nice shots, Marchel! Capturing bright light like that can be a real challenge, but your daughter did it.
Marchel, I like them both but the greens in the first pic are my favorite. Kate
Marchel,
For all of the great colors and composition, this is featured on "Speechless Sundays." Congratulations. :)
Steve
Marchel...very colorful...wouldn't it be great if we could naturally see this spectrum of colors related to energy expenditure? Cherise
Marchel, great photos, and I agree with most the colors are so bright and vivid!
Marchel,
Great pictures. The colors are extremely vivid.
Rich
Marchel, the colors in those picture just seem to jump off the screen at me. Great shot.
Marchel,
It looks very cool...

ROBERT, Our daughter is very good and bringing those vibrant colors out!
TREY, It had been years since I had been there also so it was a fun day. We also went to see something on bugs at the Imax.
JENNIFER, It was a fun day with my daughter. She was of course comparing the museum with the NYC museums but it is still a decent museum (lol).
STEVE, I will tell my daughter. When I try to take a picture like that it turns in to a blur.
SHARON, It is a totally appropriate museum for Houston as we are all about energy!
RAY, It does look like those glow in the dark necklaces that children wear.
WENDY, I love the vibrant colors and the way our daughter was able to make them pop.
PATRICIA, This museum is somewhat similar to the Museum of Natural History in Denver but it has a lot more oil and gas. That makes sense since we are in Houston.
JOHN, Capturing bright light like that is beyond my capability but our daughter does a GREAT job.
KATE, I'm with you I like those greens and the blues in the first picture.
STEVE, Thanks! I emailed our daughter and let her know that her pictures had been featured. She thought that was VERY COOL!
CHERISE, It would be interesting if the spectrum could be used for energy expenditures.
TONY, I love the vibrant colors; especially those in the first pictures.
RICHARD, Thanks! I love the colors also.
GEORGE, The colors do jump off the screen don't they. Had I tried to take that picture you would have seen a blur. I will let my daughter and husband deal with the inside pictures and I'll stick with the outdoor pictures.
Hi Marchel,
Nice colors attained. Your daughter must be quite well acquainted with photography. Now what about you. Now I may be wrong but I recall seeing photos taken by you. As I recall , it was of a home in your neighborhood.
WILLIAM, Our daughter takes great indoor pictures. I alas do not. I need to take a class or something on indoor pictures.
I do take LOTS of outdoor pictures writing localism post about our local neighborhoods. Unfortunately right now we look YUCK outside. This winter has hit us hard, hard, hard and everything is brown, brown, brown. As Spring comes you will see a lot more of my pictures.
WOW! that is an amazing photo, great colors!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Marchel: I have a brother who does this type of art in San Francisco. It's so interesting to me!!!!
That looks like a great exhibit. I really like those types of places.
Tarina is a gifted photographer, Marchel. How sweet is is to have your own professional quality photographer in the family. I've been itching for a Houston getaway. A visit to the Houston Museum of Science would make it even more fun.
Great pictures! My husband and I were just talking today about needing to take a trip back to Texas this year. Houston will be one of our stops for sure.
CHARLES, Our daughter has a knack with the camera. I have tried to take pictures like this and mine are one big blur.
JANE, I'm sure I would love your brothers art.
DEBRA, I love museums also!
SHIRLEY, I just posted a slide show of pictures from the museum. All of course taken by Tarina. I have not learned how to get inside shots like she does.
IRENE, Please let me know if you make it here so we can meet.
