On this Easter Sunday I thought this was a great photo. Our daughter took this picture on one of her many travels. I love the way it reflects the empty cross but also the resurrection. To me all the green ivy at the bottom reflect new life. Jesus came to die for our sins that we may live. All we have to do is ask him in to our life!
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with me.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Gorgeous shot your daughter took.
Happy Resurrection Day, Fran.
CATINA, Happy Easter! I loved the picture also. I love seeing the world through our daughters lens.
JANEANNE, Thanks! I hope you are having a wonderful Easter!
GARY, It has been a WONDERFUL Easter. Our son and his girlfriend went to church with me this morning and then we went out to lunch. At this time last year he had just got out of Iraq and was in Fort Hood. How blessed to have him home safe and sound and out of the Army.
SHANNA, So far it has been warm but at almost 3:00 the sun is just now peeking out. It is always nice to have some sun on the son's day.
ANDREA, I will share your comment with our daughter. I love looking through her lens. She goes places and sees things that I can't even imagine. These are memories she will have for a lifetime.
KATHY, Thanks! We are so blessed that he died for us once and for all!!!!
Hi Marchel,
A beautiful and moving expression through the eye of the lens and through the eye of the beholder as well. Happy Easter Marchel.
MICHAEL, I knew my daughter would have a bunch of cross photos on her flickr site and when I went looking I was not disappointed. She loves to photograph old cemeteries and she finds them all over the world.
MARLENE, Thanks and Thanks!
LEE and CAROL, Thanks for stopping by. It has been a glorious Easter and now I see the sun peeking out also!
KAREN, He is RISEN indeed!!
MISSY, I love being able to share in our daughter's travels through her lens. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter Marchel. It's overwhelming to think that His blood was on behalf of the Father's holy wrath about sin. Him for us. Cherise
Marchel the cross has a special meaning to me, but the Resurrection that took place on this day over 2000 years ago brought us a hope of eternal salvation.
He it risen! Here are some words to one of my favorite songs. Most people won't have heard it ;-)
He's not a baby in a manger anymore. He's not a broken man on a cross. He didn't stay; in the grave; and He's not staying in Heaven for long!
=) Happy Easter!
Marchel
That is a beautiful picture; the growth adds new life to it as well.

Thank you for sharing the photo and your faith. Hope the rest of the year continues to be an encouragement to you in all that you do.
Hope you and your family had a very wonderful Easter. This is a lovely photo and message.
CHERISE, I hope you had a wonderful Easter and I'm sorry it took so long to reply back.
GEORGE, At my bible study this evening we were talking about Easter being a bigger event than Christmas. Not to downplay Christmas but the resurrection is what it is all about!
LISA, I'm not familiar with that song. I love the words!
TOM, this is a picture with symbolism!
ANN, It was a glorious day and how blessed to have our son home safe and sound this Easter.
SHARON, Our daughter does have an eye. When she was home last week I took her to help me pick out granite.
DEBRA, I had a wonderful Easter! I hope yours was good also!
TREY, Our daughter does have an eye! I remember her re-arranging my sisters aquarium and it was amazing what she came up with.
BARB, It is one of those photos that makes you think.
JUDI, I have been so blessed since we moved to Texas! Our God is an Awesome God!
JOAN, It was a wonderful Easter! I hope yours was also!
Marchel - This touched me so very much. This is the scripture that was read at my father's graveside service this past Holy Saturday. Through the pain of the grief at that time, it didn't resound very clearly at the time. Finding it here in your post helped tie it in to the joy of Easter and where my dad is now. Thank you! I'm glad you had a wonderful Easter.

Karen, I'm so touched that this touched you! Isn't it amazing with all the scriptures in the bible how the Lord will bring one certain one to mind. I came so close to writing a different verse down but then felt that I was to write this one down and I guess now I know why!
I am very grateful for the cross! Thanks for another one of your daughter's beautiful pictures. I wonder if she realizes how many fans she has on AR.
Marchel - What a wonderful photo to commemorate Easter. And the selection of the scripture is perfect as well!
Hi Marchel, saw your post a while back but still wanted to say it does tell a story and how great it was.
Hey Marchel, great photo and I hope your family had a great Easter :)
IRENE, I have told her but she thinks it is weird her Mom blogs so doesn't come over (lol). She does think it is cool that I use her pictures though.
MYRL, I almost didn't use that particular scripture but then felt that was the one.
CHARLES, Thanks! Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words! I love the empty cross for all that he did for us!
CAROLE, We have a wonderful Easter. What a blessing to have our son at church on Easter and I'm of course double blessed that he is now safe and sound in the United States. Serving his country was good for him but I'm glad he is back in Texas and not in Iraq!
Hi Marchel, I missed this post. Beautiful picture and most important those words of the eternal hope for mankind. I made that commitment back in 1967!
Marchel, I am glad I read this post. Beautiful photo and words...
The nike air Mariah is a very special sneaker. It’s one of the classic Nike runners. Many everyday runners hold the Nike Air Mariah close to their hearts. Nike always seems to do a great job with the Air Mariah. The design, colorways and construction always seems to be perfect. Well Nike does it once again as they pull out another great colorway of the Nike Air Mariah. This latest Nike Air Mariah comes in a Charcoal/Pink/White colorway. Charcoal covers the top half of the sneaker, such as the Nike swoosh, nike shoes laces, tongue, toe and the inner lining. Head turning pink accents appear on the tongue tag, heel, swoosh border, part of the midsole and the entire outsole. The sneaker construction is definitely unique. Nylon, suede and smooth leather are just some of the materials responsible for making this Nike Air Mariah. This isn’t officially a Womens sneaker, but it sure looks like one. This Charcoal/Pink/White colorway of the
