Our daughter works as a flight attendant for a charter company that has one of the contracts to move our troops. She does a lot of turns from Germany to Kuwait. This picture would have been taken in Kuwait. Her company gets our troops to Kuwait and then a troop transport takes them in to Iraq. This is a recent picture that she took of our troops. As these men and women serve to protect our homeland we need to keep them in our prayers!

In our prayers always Marchel. These are very brave people, and we are so thankful for them! Thank you for posting these pictures.
Here is wishing your daughter and our troops a safe return. Thanks for the post.
YOu post some of the most amazing photos. What is more amazing is what these young and not so young people do for our country.
Many of them really have no idea how honorable their service is. I am so grateful to them all!!! In my prayers.
Marchel: We must never forget the sacrifice these folks make so that we may enjoy our freedom.
God Bless the USA.
It is important to remember our troops everyday and honor them. I pray they are safe and can come home soon.
Marchel, thank you. Those photos represent the best of our country ready to give the ulitimate sacrifice. Was a sobering reminder.
Hi Marchel,
Oh my, these photos just give me goose bumps, so sad to see them like this. Yet I know it's necessary, God Bless them all!
Marchel, that is a sight that is all too common these days. Wouldn't it be great to have a world that is at peace, and no need for scenes like this?
The world has never been at peace George and if not for brave Americans like those serving today there would be much less peace in the world.
Hi Marchel...I'll be happiest when we can stop sending more men and women over and bring the rest home.
Kate
Hi Marchel, My heart goes out to them and their families for their sacrifice. I always pray for peace and their safe return.
What a special job your daughter is doing. Thanks for the great picture.
Hi Marchel, You bring a special perspective to our service men and women serving our country and your reminder is a welcome one. We must always hold them in our prayers that they may succeed in their mission and return to their family and friends.
AL and PEGGY, We are free because they serve! Freedom is not FREE!
MICHELE, I'm fine with her going to Kuwait but I'm just as glad it is the transport taking them to Iraq. Our son had two tours of Iraq and it was a nail biting experience.
WENDY, Our daughter is off seeing the world and I get to look through her lens. It was surreal the last time our son got out of Iraq they passed in the sky to and from Kuwait. What a relief to have him home a college student. I'm meeting him for lunch tomorrow. Thank goodness we still have such a strong armed services; I hope it stays that way!!
SARA, We owe all those who serve and have served so much!!
JOAN, We owe them so much and I know they appreciate ALL our prayers!!
ANDREA, I pop on our daughters Flickr site on a regular basis to see what she has posted and I agree this one hit me! It is a sobering site to see them getting in the transport.
LYNDA, I agree these photos gave me goose bumps also. Especially the top when looking through the window!
GEORGE, This has been going on since biblical days. I think it is going to take the Lords return! Thanks again for your service to our country!!
LARRY, We are blessed to still have such a strong military! I pray that it stays that way!
KATE, I would love to see them come home also but just like World War II I don't see it happening anytime soon. We still have troops in Germany all these years later.
What a great photo, Marchel. Our troops are amazing people to do this. How great is it that your daughter has a part in this, too?
Marchel, your daughter is serving her country every time she helps to insure that these soldiers arrive safely to their destinations. Thank her for the opportunity to get a glance of her role in action.
Marchel,
Those planes are one of the best ! :) they load a lot and they are heavy duty aimed for that, keep the good work !
Wow. What a heart-wrenching job. I think I'd be stopping every person who was headed off to war, asking them if I could pray with them. It would take forever to get a plane off the ground! It's a reminder right now for me to pray though.
Marchel, thanks for posting this. It is so critical we remember the "young" men and woman heading into war.
Marchel, thanks for posting this. It is so critical we remember the "young" men and woman heading into war.
Marchel - These brave men and women of America - the pride of the nation - always in our thoughts and prayers for their safety and safe return home - thank you for the photos.
Congratulations this post is now featured in the Silent Majority Group of Active Rain.
Marchel,
Thanks for sharing these pictures and asking for prayer. I continue to pray for our troops and our nation.
Hey Marchel - Is there still a restaurant called "Potato Patch" in Spring on FM 1960? It used to be such a fun place to go eat.
Thank your daughter for us * we need to NOT forget that there are lots of civilians engaged in the War on Terror!!!
Marchel - Amen! The thankless task of war needs our thankful attitudes and prayers. Cherise
Marchel, you are indeed the Troop Ambassador at AR. The pictures are awe-inspiring. Thank you again, Kate
MARY, We are safe because they serve!
IRENE, She loves these troop flights. She says they remind her of the boys back home. I told her those are the boys back home.
WILLIAM, My children have definitely given me a different perspective on the war. It has brought it home and made me realize how much the troops need our prayers!
TERAL, I was excited to see this picture on her Flickr as it does give us a glance of how a troop is deployed. With our son having had two tours I had wondered how they got from Kuwait to Iraq.
RAY, Those planes are the best and they get our troops in and out of difficult places.
LISA, She has loved moving our troops but clearly the feeling on the plane is different when are they taking them out as to when they are taking them in.
MISSY, It is so easy to get caught up in our lives and forget to pray for out troops! Our daughters pictures just gave me a visual reminder! How's your Navy son doing by the way?
NICHOLAS, Thank you for the feature! I do think this is what the silent majority is all about!!
MIKE, It is so important to keep them in our prayers, no matter what our politics are!!
IRENE, You won't even recognize the potato patch as it has a new home. It is still the patch but in fancy diggs!
WALLACE, Our daughter loves moving the troops! She prefers the troop flights over any other flight!
CHERISE, You are so correct! No matter our politics we all need to be in prayer for the safety of our troops!
KATE, With our son getting out of the Army this last June and our daughter still moving troops it is close to my heart!
We have no idea the sacrifices that are being made from our men and women, they are always in my prayers. I have a soft spot for all of them!!
Marchel, your daughter is doing a great job. Do you get travel benefits?
Marchel,
Thanks for sharing this along with the caption. Don't often get to see this on the other end. :)
Steve
Marchel your daughter certainly has an interesting job. You must be very proud of her!
A big thank you to your daughter Marchel! Many in this country have no foundation to understand "why" we are a free people. Or "how" we have given the BEST WAY OF LIFE to our citizens.
The comments above about wishing the world would be at peace are pollyannish and frankly, ignorant of human behaviors.
Hello Marchel. We appreciate your faithfulness in providing us with pictures and reminder messages so that we do not take our freedoms for granted.... 2 of the owners we manage property for are deployed.... one is in Iraq and the other trains soldiers to ship to Iraq and other war zones. The least we can all do is pray for them. Thank you for posting the pictures from your daughter Marchel!
CINDY, I hear you and have a soft spot also! Our son is now out of the Army but has an Army Mom and two tours of Iraq I also have a soft spot for the families they leave behind.
PATRICIA, Actually my husband works for an airline so we raised her to be a flight attendant (lol). I have enjoyed the benefits but if you need to be somewhere on time it is often better to buy a ticket.
STEVE, I agree! With our sons two deployments I imagined what the transport was like but this was the actual thing. I don't know that she gets to see this that often.
BILL, I am proud of her and of her brother. Our son just got out of the Army this last June after two tours of Iraq. It was very surreal a couple of times they passed in the sky to and from Kuwait. If you had told me they would be doing that when they were little I would have told you that you were nuts. Our son is now a college student looking at a degree in engineering.
GEORGIA, We come from a long line of relatives who have served our country. We are actually not a military family but we step up to the plate when we need to. She LOVES the troop flights. They remind her of the boys back home.
DIANE, I have to admit it was easier for me to remember to pray when our son was deployed. I like to do these as much for me to remember as anyone. They serve us and we need to serve them.
Marchel, your daughter has an important and special job - and thanks for the reminder of the brave young men and women who serve our country in foreign countries.
Marchel, Thank you for sharing the picture. It brought tears to my eyes , thinking of these young people leaving their families behind and going so far away.
Marchel- Great post and a memorable pic.
God Bless Our Troops!
Marchel, great reminder to remember our brave soldiers.
Marchel, Is this the daughter that wants to work in the South Pole? Please let her know we appreciate the photos of our brave men and women. God Bless the good ol USA!
SHARON, She enjoys those troop flights. She is feeling very blessed right now as she's scheduled to move troops to Japan and not Germany. I'm sure this volcano is affecting the troop flights as it is affecting everything else.
GITA, Having been a military Mom for almost 5 years I can tell you it is not easy having your loved one in harms way.
MELISSA, We are free because they serve!!
REBECCA, We have so much to thank our Armed forces for, those who are presently serving and those who have served.
DANA, This would be that same daughter? She figures she will do this for another year and half and then who knows what she will do. So is your sister still working at the South Pole?
Such a strong picture. May the people in this picture all return safe as well as everyone else overseas in the military.
DEBRA, This is one of those pictures that makes you stop and think about our troops! A strong picture is a good name for it. That is how it affected me the first time I saw it also.
God Bless them - Each and every one!
Debi
Marchel, God Bless your daughter and your son for his service and all the men and woman in uniform
