Wordless Wednesday - Please turn out the lights!

Elle sleeping

This is our grand-kitty Elle who lives with us while our flight attendant daughter flies around the world.  She does know who her mistress is though because as soon as our daughter arrives back home she drops me like a hot potato.

(This picture is for you Karen Anne!)

I'm not one to think cats are cute, but this is a cute picture.

Marcel - Great picture and I'm sure there is a Hallmark-style caption to go with it ...  Thanks for sharing!

Ah too funny... and what a cute cat. My daughter Shannon's cat Charlie is hanging out with my son and I for awhile. I'm not a cat lover.... but he's growing on me.

What a darling little kitty.  They look so innocent when they are sleeping...

Marchel~ Another charmer! We are so lucky to have blessings that come purring to the door...and then take up residence on the sofa...where the purrs continue in the napping!

Marchel, I've gotta feeling that Elle knows she's a pretty lucky cat.  It is great that you can keep her while your daughter is flying.

Elle is certainly a princess.  I love the way cats cover their eyes when they are ready to sleep!  It is so cute.  What a great photo!

Elle is precious. She seems to be saying "5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Ready or not, here I come (NOT!). :O)

Marchel - That cat makes the perfect subject for this photo, which is poster quality for certain!  I love that cat, I just want scruff its little ears:-)

Cool picture. Yes, turn out the lights, the party is over...

Marchel, We used to be strictly dog people, now have cats, benefit of dead end country road drop offs and full no-kill  shelters.  Their individual personalities will crack you up!  We have one that sleeps like your picture, another that is face first down into the couch top... you'd think she had too much to drink and passed out!

Marchel, Elle has the best of both worlds.  A home with you and then the visits from your daughter!

Awwww....great shot. We have one cat, our first as we also have 5 dogs.

It it so funny to watch them, their behavior is so different. Amazing she knows her momma.

Marchel what an adorable picture!

DONNA, The only reason that you don't think cats are cute is because you have not met Elle.  She TOTALLY knows how to do Cute.  Now our other cat Calvin just curls in to a cat ball but not Elle.  She cracks me up!

JACK,  I tried to figure out that Hallmark caption but ended up with the "Please turn the lights out".  She squints when you come in to a room and turn on the lights (lol).

RENE, Cats do have a way of growing on you.  My older sister and her husband ended up adopting two stray kitties and they now run the house.

SHIRLEY, They do look so adorable and so innocent when sleeping.

JANE ANN, My grandkitty purrer is sleeping beside me right now.

MARY KAY, Elle has the best of both worlds!

JOAN, Elle covers her eyes and then squints when you turn on the light!

JONI, Elle is precious; well when she is not hungry.

MYRL, I gave her a big scruff behind the ears just now for you.  She replied with something like a meow.  She is very vocal with lots of different meows.

TERAL, When we first got her as a kitten her owner described her as Garfield.  The older she gets the more she fits the bill.

Posted by Marchel Peterson Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) over 1 year ago

MICHAEL, She can be so melodramatic!

LIZ and BILL, We have two cats and they are totally different. Our male cat loves to pull Elle's pigtails (lol)!

BRUCE, Elle does have the best of both worlds.  She loves it when our daughter comes home.  She drops me like a hot potato.

MISSY, She so knows her Mama!  Our daughter was on her way to Dragoncon in Atlanta (I'm so glad she is out of the way of the hurricane) today but stopped long enough to call and see how her kitty was doing.  That happened to be a hungry time so she got to hear her crying (lol).

CHERISE, My cats are spoiled but my sister who lives in Elizabeth takes spoiled to a whole new level.

DEBRA,  Elle so knows how to do CUTE!

Marchel:  Thanks so much for the picture of GrandKitty Elle.  Looking at the picture 1) makes me smile, and 2) makes me want to go take a nap.  Such a cute baby.  Irresistible.  And what a great subject for picture-taking.

Marchel,
that's a beautiful picture as always, you deseve a lot of credit for your wordless blogs, for me it seems like if garfield was real it would be a good example of cat :) take care !

@ Ray:  What do you mean ?  If Garfield was real ?  He isn't "real."  Oh no.  My cat Mollie T and I are in mourning, or at least "severely traumatized."  Now both of us need therapy.  Again...

Hi Marchel, That was a wonderful photo capture but the title really did it. A  p-u-r-f-e-c-t match.
