Calvin and his Gecko friend!!

Calvin and his gecko friend!

Calvin's new gecko friend!

Our Calvin has a new friend as you can see by the pictures.  One was taken today and the other one was taken yesterday.  He is glad that I lugged his new friend home all the way from Mesa Arizona.  The thing is I lugged that new friend several years ago but he has just now formed an attachment.

Marchel,
The first thing that I thought when I saw these pictures with your lovely cat was that it was a real lizard, but later on after the 2 seconds I noticed that it was just a deco, :) great pictures as always have a happy holliday ! :P

Marchel,

Really like the first shot. Shows a real bond. The second one, he looks interrupted and annoyed. :)

Marchel,

Hilarious picture.  But the truth is...Don't we oftentimes form attachments to things ourselves?  Have a great day.

Marchel I thought that Gecko's were quite little green lizards.  That thing looks like it could take the cat with one bit :)

MARY KAY, It does make a great photo.  I tend to get more picture of my grand kitty Elle as she gets in weird positions so I love it when Calvin poses.

BILL, I had a nice quiet labor day.  I hope you had a good one also.

CINDY, Calvin does call some Gecko's lunch but not this one.

DALE, That Gecko is Calvin's new pillow so I'm sure he would have some words to say about anyone taking his gecko.

MARY, Calvin does look very CUTE with his new friend.

TERAL, I'm thinking the first picture was more of a photo-op than the second picture for Calvin.  They were taken in two different days.

ANDREA, I was enamored when I saw this Gecko in Arizona.  Last year I was in San Diego and was enamored with a peacock and ended up spending as much money sending it back to myself as I did for the peacock.  (LOL)  Cavin has not cuddled up with the peacock yet.

LOREENA, YOU ARE SO RIGHT; great buddies are SO HARD to find!  We had an 85th birthday party for my Mother recently in Colorado and she surprised me by inviting one of my old buddies.  What fun to get to know her again.  I so missed her friendship as those buddies are hard to find.

RAY, I was enamored with this lizard and have enjoyed him on our patio.  It appears Calvin has also become enamored.

JONI, I love that cheek to cheek pose in the first picture also!

KATE, We have two cats and they are so entertaining.  Prior to these cats we had a cat with an unpersonality.  She was just lucky that she got us as owners as we put up with her.  After that cat I enjoy these two with all their personality.

DIANE, Calvin has been bonding with this Gecko.

STEVE, Oh my did you read these pictures right.  I stayed back on the first picture as I had already learned my lesson from the second picture.  Calvin looks at me like "what are you getting ready to do".

Posted by Marchel Peterson Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) over 1 year ago

CHERISE, It is so easy to get attached to stuff rather than seeking what our heavenly Father would have for us.

DEBRA, I love both Calvin and the Gecko.  I do have to admit that Calvin has more personality than the gecko though!

LIZ and BILL, Isn't it amazing what they decide they like!  I love having two cats.  They are just like potato chips; one is not enough!

GEORGE, We have those cute little gecko's running all around our house.  I saw one come in the door the other day and someday I will probably find his carcass.  This guy is one huge gecko!

Posted by Marchel Peterson Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) over 1 year ago

Marchel, I bet that Gecko has great cheeks to rub against as cats like to do.  Interesting to hear your remarks about your current cats with all their personality,   Sounds like Calvin has a great imagination too, to befriend a statue!

Hope you time with your visiting your mother was good!

Marchel, I love the picture!  You never know how two creatures will interact with each other.  It would be fun to really know what they are thinking!!  I was reading your comments back, and your Mother is here in Colorado?  What part?  My Father, 83 years old (young) has lived with me and my family since Mom went HOME in 2003.  Happy Labor Day!:)

Marchel Looks like a great friendship.  You have so many great shots of Calvin I bet you could but a book together, just saying.

Have a great week.

Marchel - Those two make for some really strange bed-fellows:-)  However, I do have a friend that has a guinea pig, a rabbit and a cat, that often sleep together.

DOUG and GLORIA, What a blessing it was to get to visit my parents.  At age 85 and 93 I treasure those visits.

STEVE, Calvin can be a sweetheart but he is not a cuddler.  He does not like to sit on my lap now my grand-kitty is just the opposite.

JOAN, My parents are in Thornton just north of Denver.  We lived in Westminister for 15 years but moved to Spring back in 1996.  My sister now lives in Elizabeth.

JENNIFER, I have a pet blog (lol).  I have not been consistent with it though.

MYRL, I can't imagine a cat sleeping with a rabbit and a Guinea pig.

RUTH, I was enamored with the gecko and lugged him back from Arizona.

SHARON, Calvin is as skinny as my grand-kitty Elle is fat.

DON, I think our pets are special they are a part of the family.

JANE, Calvin is out with his gecko right now.  I'm sure if it was real it would be in his mouth instead of his pillow.

CHRIS, They are so funny!  I love getting pictures of their goofy positions.

KAREN, I agree Calvin is one handsome dude.  He has the highest pitched meow.  He gets his way because it is kind of like a nail on a chalk board.

Hi Marchel, Just curious, how are you defining grand kitty? Is this a kitten from a litter that one of your cats had or is this the kitty of your child?

Posted by Steve Baklaich (RE/MAX Results St Cloud Mn real estate) over 1 year ago

Steve, My grand-kitty is our daughters cat who lives with us as our daughter is an Internation flight attendant.
