Speechless Sunday - Reflection in flight!!

Reflection in flight!

I wish I could tell you that I took this picture but I'm still trying to get a good picture of a bird in flight.  This was taken by our daughter on a layover in Seattle. I find pictures like this so relaxing.

What a beautiful photograph. The bird against that fabulous blu background is spectacular. Thank you for sharing.

That photo is absolutely amazing, Marchel!  Your daughter should enter it in one of those contests for "amateurs".

Posted by Bruce Walter (Keller Williams Realty Lafayette/West Lafayette, Indiana) over 1 year ago

This is absolutely beautiful...and I agree, this is contest-worthy!  I could stare at it for quite some time...very calming.

That's gorgeous.  The stripes in the water look so uniform, almost like someone did a paper silhouette of the bird, and placed it over striped fabric.

That really is a great shot, Marchel, please let your daughter know that we all admire her work too.

Marchel, this is a great photo.  It looks like you and your daughter are very good with capturing very good Kodak moments --- no matter where you are.  :)

Looks more like a professional commercial shot, it not easy to capture such a shot when there is motion. Both my daughter and I love to photograph, Photographs with water bring out the same reaction of a feeling of peace.

MARGO, I have this as one of my screensavers now and LOVE IT.

LEE & CAROL, You are right it does look relaxing and zen like.

TONY, I agree; she does take some awesome pictures.  I told her she should consider getting a masters degree in photography but she is afraid that it would change something she loves as that is what happened with graphic design.

She does not enter contest so I enter them for her (lol).

Posted by Marchel Peterson Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) over 1 year ago

SUSAN, Now I'm wondering if I should find some contest to enter it in for her because I know that she won't.

KAREN, I thought it was an amazing picture also.  I'm using it as one of the pictures on my screen saver.

TERAL, I will let her know.  You should visit her Flickr site as she has tons of pictures.  The link is at the bottom of the post.

STEVE, He does look like he is scoping out what is down there.

MARIA, I hear you!  I have been trying to get that bird in flight picture and as yet I have blurs.  It is a hard picture to get.

KRISTINE, She is an awesome photographer!  You should check her Flickr out the link is at the bottom of the post.

JONI, I will tell her but she thinks it is weird her Mom blogs so she does not come over (lol).  She does know that I share her photos though.

JUDITH, I am proud of her!

Marchel - I just got done looking at all your daughter's photos (took a while as I enjoyed every one) and I'm speechless! Okay, now I can talk/write now/. She is the most talented photographer I've every seen. Every photo is spectacular, creative, interesting with such variety! She has to be a professional right? Congratulations on having such an amazingly talented daughter! I'd be bragging to the world!

Marchel,

I love how the wings of the bird look like they are taking a dip into the water for a quick drink amid flight! What a fantastic photo! What a great and talented daughter you have! What a GREAT mom you are!

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marchel... the color and texture of the water is almost as spectacular as the bird in flight!  Great shot!

GEORGE, She does take some excellent pictures.

SHEILA, She travels the world as a flight attendant and sees some amazing things.

LORI, I thought it was an amazing shot also.

KRISTINE, I'm amazed that you made it through all her photos.  She has a degree in graphic design but no she is not a professional photographer.  She is an International flight attendant and takes pictures as she travels the world.  She moved to NYC city after graduating from a very competitive program in Dallas in Graphic design.  She decided she hated corporate America (this was while she was living in Manhattan) and ended up getting on with North American airlines and traveling the world.  To begin with she was writing about her travels but then decided to say it with pictures.  The rest is history and yes I am a proud Mom; which is why I share her pictures on my blog.

TIM, I have submitted her pictures to National Geographic before I guess I should think about submitting again.

ROBERT, Your pictures do remind me of my daughter's pictures.  You both have a gift!

PATRICIA, It is one of those pictures where you can just sit and ponder it.

STEVE, I agree.  I think our daughter has quite the gift.  I keep trying to get that bird in flight picture and I end up with a blur.

Marchel - well I didn't make it through all of them but looked at least 200 - just couldn't stop looking. I saved the link to check them out over time a she does have 1000's. I love photography and can learn a lot just looking through her eyes. For example the buildings - so cool and I would have never thought of that. She's been all over the world and documented her travels with her stunning pictures! I just looked a another 50 or so! She's my new muse!

Marchel,  I agree with Kristine. I just bookmarked your daughters website and I know I will spend a lot of time going through her photos.
