I love looking at clouds and I found these to be particularly dreamy. After 4 very gloomy days of rain and no clouds (which is unusual here in Spring TX) I thought I would post a little cloud sunshine! I especially like the way the clouds mimic the trees over on the right hand side of the picture.

Those clouds look a lot better than all the snow we have had in NH! I'm ready for spring and lots of beautiful dreamy clouds.
Marchel,
Now that your son is home safely, you have time to dream. Smiles! :)
Mike in Tucson
Hi Marchel, one of the great luxuries as kid was laying in fresh cut crass , smelling the fabulous grass smell and looking up at the clouds and studying imag-es as they transformed in recognizable objects. Because our minds are actually photographic, images of or at least similar shapes are conjured up and they appear in the cloud shapes. Works 100% if yo study them long enough. I was talking about this a few ago with a couple seniors (late 80's ) as we reminisced about him and his wife having had similar experiences and would coach each other in the shapes until the other one finally recognized it. This entertainment of course was provided by GOD and that is why we have these remembrances, it is our soul that keeps track of the images we most value. Wonderful picture.
Hi Marchel, We have had a lot of rain here too. I am ready to see some sun. Beautiful picture!
I love clouds and storms like that too, Marchel. You made me home sick! ;-)
Hi Marchel,
Oh my, those clouds are spectacular! Every now and then we joke about photo shoping in clouds in in So Cal, because we don't see them every day.
Marchel: What a great picture. And... I really like your title... "Dreaming in Spring - Texas that is !" Very creative title, and very pretty picture. Thanks for sharing.
Marchel - What a great cloud photo and it's been featured at: CLOUDS AT ACTIVERAIN (clouds attached)
Marchel, We have had several days of grey and rain too. I hope that it is over for awhile...
Hi Marchel,
Looks like we both were looking at clouds yesterday. Nature does provide the best photo opportunities, doesn't it?
Hi Marchal: Please send some of that rain over here, we're so dry that it's prompting fires. Perhaps this week they tell us. You're clouds are very dreamy, I dream they raindrop Central Florida ;-)
We were out on the lake yesterday (I protested because it was sprinkling when we got there) and once we stopped and fished a little while the sun came out and I wished so bad I had my camera! You captured the picture I saw yesterday! Its been raining here for days too so we were happy to see the sunshine
We had our time of rain last week and are now experiencing dreamy clouds and sun - with you, the "son" is always out.... even when dark cloud and rain appears, right? right!
(still so very happy for you - we are wearing smiles around here!)
Marchel--I too love watching big beautiful puffy white clouds floating by. These are wonderful!
Pretty photo Marchel, I'm thankful we don't have too many gloomy days here in Colorado. The sun always seems to be shining! Glad you have the sunshine back!
Marchel - I love that photo - it is definitely full of energy. It is amazing how those clouds change and build.
Marchel You are a "whiz" with a camera - especially deciding what is worth snapping, Karen
That is very beautiful. Except I dont want the rain to come again but great shot.
Thank you,
Kim White
Nice photo, Marchel. I used to live in Conroe so I understand about those long periods of rain and clouds. Except for that, this is a nice time of year, there.
JOAN, WOO HOO the sun is out!! We had 4 dreary days and it is so nice to see nice blue skys. I know we have a milder winter than you but I'm ready for spring also.
MIKE, My RELIEF is huge!! Only three more trips back and forth to Fort Hood and he will be out of the Army. I'm now saying he is commuting (LOL). He was happy when he got back to Fort Hood yesterday to find some sun and he called us and told us sun was on the way and it is here today.
WILLIAM, God does some INCREDIBLE Work!! I love looking at big puffy clouds and making things out of them in my mind. I saw a Teddy Bear recently but didn't have a camera.
TERESA, After 4 very gloomy days it is soooooooo nice to see the sun again. We don't have any dreamy clouds today but we have a beautiful blue sky.
RANDY, So was Texas your home at one time? I love our skies with the puffy clouds!! I am originally from Kansas and I must say Kansas has a pretty cool sky also.
LYNDA, I miss those skies with all the clouds when they disappear. I know we are spoiled because we have a lot of days of them. 4 days of gloomy weather was enough for me!!
KAREN ANNE, I'm glad you like my title. I was hoping people would not think I was NUTS with my play on words.
ROBERT, Thanks for featuring my picture and thanks for giving me a place to post it to.
MICHAEL, WOO HOO the sun is out after 4 gloomy cold days. I'm a very positive person but I must say 4 days of gloom starts getting to me.
CYNTHIA, I did notice we were both in to the clouds yesterday. I was so tired of the gloomy weather I was pulling up pictures that had some sun. Now today was gorgeous but no clouds.
GAIL, I hear you we have been in a drought also. Even with the 4 days of rain I heard that we are still in the drought. We were 8 inches short before the rain. I'm not sure where we are at now. It did a nice job of greening everything up.
TARA, I captured that one back in January. We had a gloomy day yesterday. Today it was beautiful but no clouds.
DIANE, You are right I am still very happy. I will be so glad when he no longer has to commute to Fort Hood though. I say commute as he is now coming home every weekend. He has leave from April 4th to the 27th and then gets out on May 2nd. He has been gone for most of the time going on five years now so it will be so nice to have him back here locally.
KAREN, I let my husband take the pictures at our sons ceremony and I figured out the difference. I just snap tons of pictures so I can find that one good one. For some reason he is stingy with the snapping.
KIM, I hear you. We needed rain but about the 4th day I was not happy!!
TERI, I missed a Teddy Bear recently but just didn't have a camera with me.
PATRICIA, Our area is much like Colorado as far as the sun goes, just hotter. When we moved from Colorado sun days was one of the things I considered. One of the places we considered only had 60 sun days a year. I told my husband NO WAY. Thank goodness it was our decision. I can't imagine living somewhere with lots of gloomy days.
Sharon, I love your description. It is full of energy.
MIKE, It is a nice time of year. At least this rain washed all the pollen away. I'll bet you remember that green stuff also.
Marchel - That is a stunningly beautiful sky. The color of blue is royal.
Marchel, I love that picture. I love clouds, skies, the possibilities are endless for pictures. Thank you!
Marchel - Sorry for the mistake and it has been taken care of, those are some very beautiful clouds!
MYRL, We have lots of days with those blue skies here and that was taken in January.
ANREA, I love clouds also. I usually wish I had my camera but this particular time I did.
ROBERT, Hmmmmm guess I missed something.
Marchel - I will agree with Joan, clouds look much better than the ton of snow this winter. This was really a delightful shot, thanks for sharing.
Your clouds look warm and inviting - we are looking for them to come our way in the next month or so.
Marchel, Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture. Reminded me of my childhood when we used to look up at the clouds and imagine what they looked like.
